St. Patrick Cemetery was founded by Irish immigrants in 1880 and undoubtedly many Irish Famine immigrants are buried there. The cemetery is thought by many to be the location that has the most genuine Irish ties in the Seattle area! KIRO’s 'My Northwest' once called the cemetery “A Little patch of Ireland on the edge of the Kent Valley”
