This is the output from the IHC member discussions at the 2025 Planning meeting held on August 24th 2024
And Ratified by the IHC Board on September 30th 2024.

OBJECTIVE:
Create a plan for 2025 that will help us deliver against an agreed mission
AGENDA:
- IHC’s Mission Statement: Discuss and update
- Goal Setting: What are our objectives for 2025
- Operations: Draft a plan of events to meet our objectives
- Budgeting & planning events
- What 2024 Events should be retained?
- What New Events should be considered?
- Senior’s Program for 2025
- Membership, Operational Governance
MISSION STATEMENT
“The Irish Heritage Club of Seattle is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Irish culture and traditions through inclusive events and activities. We invite participation from all who share an interest in Irish heritage throughout Seattle and the State of Washington.”
2025 GOALS
Membership:
1. Increase paid membership numbers to 100% of pre COVID levels – 272 members
2. 25% of new members to be under 50 years of age
Funding Expansion:
3. 25% of all Hosted Events to have a named sponsor
4. Addition of a third grant funding partner
Impact Measurement:
5. Completion and analysis of a community impact survey by June 2025
6. 100% compliance with external grant funding conditions

SENIORS PROGRAM
Board members Ralph Kosche and Liesel Murray will take over the running of IHC Seniors Program for 2025 with a view to supporting The Executive Director in expanding the scope, reach and & impact it has on the Irish community in Seattle.

Policies for the following were reviewed, ratified and accepted by the Board:
- Contract Signature Process
- Expense Approval & Payment
- Performance Payment Policy
- Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult Policy
Roles & Responsibility descriptions were ratified and accepted by the Board for:
- Club Treasurer
- Club Secretary
- Membership Secretary
